Created in 1997, Amarante's golf course is backdropped by the surrounding natural beauty, two of the highest mountains in Portugal - Marão and Aboboreira, it's hilly topography offers players a challenge. Located in the parish of Fregim four miles (6 Km) from the town of Amarante the course consists of 18 holes for a par of 68 over 40 acres and an altitude of 600 metres. The highlights are the fast but undulated greens, which require special attention by players. It comprises seven par 3 holes, eight par 4 holes and three par 5 holes. The site also contains a golf school offering courses and advice for all ages and abilities.

Located 43km North of Porto Estela Golf Club was established in 1989, has a typical links course with outstanding views over the Atlantic Ocean and first-class facilities. Gentle sea breezes keep the temperature mild throughout the year. It is a par 72, with four par 3 holes, ten par 4 holes and four par 5 holes. The usage of "Penncross Bent” grass, contributes greatly to the fast and firm greens of the course.

Narrow fairways in the landing areas, the pressure is definitely put on the tee shot. There are few fairway bunkers on the course - simply because there’s no need for them. If you miss the fairway in Estela, it will land in the sand dunes. In 2016 Estela Golf Club was voted the 5th best golf course in Portugal.

Established in 1932, Club de Golfe de Miramar is one of Portugal's oldest courses and when opened it was targeted towards the home market. Located in the famous resort of Miramar, Arcozelo, in Vila Nova de Gaia, 10 km south of Porto. It is built on sandy soil close to the “Senhor da Pedra” chapel. The par 35 course is a traditional link with nine holes, allowing for short games or full rounds. It is one of the finest executive courses in the Iberian Peninsula, with views over the Atlantic Ocean and a tricky layout.

Oporto Golf Club is the oldest golf course in the Iberia Peninsula was founded in 1890. Golf was originally introduced to Portugal by British Port traders and Oporto Golf Club has seen continual redevelopment ever since. Its home to Skeffington, Dockery and Kendall Cup tournaments and is fully equipped with a driving range, putting green, chipping green, practice bunker, shop, bars and restaurant. The pitch and putt were introduced in 2004 for family fun. Playing in this course can be more than a simple golf game, enjoying its magnificent landscape with the sun glinting off the shore and the mild Atlantic climate. Enjoy also the hospitality and the high gastronomical quality of the Club House.
A valid handicap certificate from player’s home club is required. Handicap limit: men 28, women 36

As part of a holiday complex that includes a marina and Aparthotel, this nine-hole course has many water hazards and strategically placed bunkers which are sufficient enough to improve the skills of most players as well as being suitable for the learner golfer. The holes are sporadically placed over an undulating topography and attractive vistas across the river Cávada. Services include: driving range, putting green, pro shop, lessons, marina, swimming pool, tennis, restaurant and bar. Handicap Certificate: Men 36 - Ladies 36.

The six holes par 20 course was built in 2002, offering great flexibility for golfers to play 6, 12 or 18 holes and includes a Pitch & Putt course. Minimum handicap requirements: Men 36 - Ladies 36.
