The award-winning FC Porto (Futebol Clube do Porto) Museum is located within Porto's Dragão Stadium and is open seven days a week. Proudly on display are artefacts and trophies won throughout Porto FC's impressive 120-year history. The museum employs modern interactive techniques and technologies to convey the items on exhibit to maximum effect.
The FC Porto Museum was awarded the Innovation and Creativity Award in 2015 by the Portuguese Museology Association (APOM) and nominated for the European Museum of the Year Awards in 2016. The museum's success is due to its use of impressive advanced technology and interactive displays. Watch a hologram of Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, president of the club since 1982. Take a look at the "Valquíria Dragão" by the artist Joana Vasconcelos. Learn about titles won in the UEFA Champions League by FC Porto before exploring the Dragão stadium.
Designed by the architect Manuel Salgado the stadium was built in 2003. This five-star arena seats up to 52,000 souls and has great transport links with the city and airport.
